Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management suspends bulky waste scheduling as Tropical Storm Eta approaches
The Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has announced suspension of bulky waste scheduling until further notice. No new bulky waste pickups will be scheduled as of 5 p.m. Saturday, November 7.
The move was made in response to the expected approach of Tropical Storm Eta.
DSWM will continue to collect previously scheduled bulky waste piles while weather conditions allow. The 13 Trash and Recycling Centers (TRCs) will remain open for use by service area customers during their normal hours Sunday—7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.—again, as long as weather conditions permit.
Follow DSWM on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
