Miami-Dade County's Department of Transportation and Public Works Veterans Day schedule for Miami-Dade Transit services

On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 – Veterans Day – Miami-Dade Transit will provide regular weekday service on Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover under Miami-Dade County’s New Normal plan.  

Some Metrobus routes may still be impacted due to area flooding. Please call 311 for up-to-date route information.

As a reminder, Miami-Dade Transit fares and parking fees remain suspended at this time, and rear-door boarding is still in place for Metrobus riders. To further support social distancing, riders are encouraged to follow the directional signage on Metrorail and Metromover vehicles in order to create one-way circulation paths.

Face coverings are required for all transit passengers at all times, including while waiting at a bus stop or on the platform, and while inside the vehicle. Violators are subject to removal from the system.

Residents are asked to please follow the guidelines for Miami-Dade County’s New Normal plan.

Administrative offices
The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) administrative offices will be closed on Veterans Day. Special Transportation Service (STS) customers can call the STS reservation number at 305-871-1111 to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
