Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department to host the 7th Annual Human Trafficking Conference: Becoming a Human Trafficking Prevention Leader (Virtual)

Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) has partnered with the  Miami Dade County Public Schools and Miami-Dade County Schools Police to virtually present the 7th Annual Human Trafficking Conference, a free conference on human trafficking awareness and available resources in the community. The virtual conference will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

In commemoration of National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, CAHSD has partnered with Miami-Dade County Public Schools to increase human trafficking awareness among students and staff. Survivor testimony, an overview of human trafficking in Miami-Dade County and the resources available to help victims will highlight the conference. All participants will receive a "Human Trafficking Prevention Leader" certificate. Contributing agencies include the Miami-Dade Schools Police, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Share Your Heart.
