Mayor Daniella Levine Cava Statement on American Rescue Plan

Today, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava issued the following statement in support of the American Rescue Plan:

"The American Rescue Plan is critical legislation to support struggling families throughout Miami-Dade County who continue to suffer from the public health and economic impacts of this pandemic. With enhanced unemployment benefits set to expire March 14, the need to provide additional relief to millions of Americans is as great as ever. I urge Congress to pass this bill, which will help protect lives and livelihoods across Miami-Dade and the United States through the duration of the crisis and ensure local governments can continue providing essential services such as policing, fire rescue, and more."
