Zoo Miami offering BOGO admission for teachers through May 31
Miami-Dade Parks' Zoo Miami is offering free admission for teachers to the Zoo with one paid admission. The discount created to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this week (May 2-7) is valid through May 31, 2021.
"Teachers don’t always get the recognition they deserve," said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "This past year, they truly went above and beyond to continue educating our young people despite the most difficult of circumstances and personal hardship. We didn't want to let this week end without showing how much we appreciate them."
"We are glad to provide this benefit to our community’s teachers. We want to thank them for educating and inspiring Miami-Dade County’s children and future leaders,” said Miami-Dade Parks Director Maria I. Nardi.
Zoo Miami Director Will Elgar added, "As educators ourselves, we appreciate the dedicated professionals in the classroom. We hope visiting the Zoo and seeing our animal friends will be fun and relaxing for teachers and their families."
Teachers will receive a free admission of equal or lesser value when purchasing a full paid general admission at the Zoo during normal operating hours. A valid school photo identification is required at the time of purchase. Limited to one discount per teacher. Offer not valid online, for groups, or with any other promotion. Not redeemable for cash. Offer expires May 31, 2021.
