Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava continues to support PortMiami's cruise partners

Mayor extends waiver of lay berth and harbor fees an additional 60 days effective May 31, 2021, through July 30, 2021.

Today, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava extended the waiver for lay berth and harbor fees for Miami-Dade County's cruise line partners effective May 31, 2021, through July 30, 2021, subject to availability at PortMiami. The period for the extended waiver can be amended at any time at the sole discretion of Miami-Dade County, as needed.

"As we continue to make great progress to safely re-open the cruise industry, Miami-Dade County will remain supportive of our cruise partners by extending the berthing and harbor fees waiver through July 30," said Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "Cruising is a cornerstone of Miami-Dade’s economy and we are committed to restoring this vital industry in the months ahead.”
