Miami-Dade County Mayor celebrates raising of first Pride Progress Flag at Government Center

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 15, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will celebrate the raising of the Pride Progress Flag at Stephen P. Clark Government Center for the first time.

On June 1st, Miami-Dade County raised the Pride Flag to celebrate the first two weeks of Pride Month, and the Progress Flag will fly for the second two weeks of the month to honor the diversity within the LGBTQ community.

"Miami-Dade County's Pride includes everyone, especially LGBTQ+ people of color and the trans community," says Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "We continue striving to make our community an even more welcoming, inclusive place where all people can live in dignity."
