“The pandemic has taken a steep toll on one of our most vital local industries, which is why we've been working so hard to usher back the safe restart of cruising,” said Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Passenger cruising represents thousands of jobs for Miami-Dade workers and billions of dollars of local economic impact.
