Deering Estate offers reduced general admission on Labor Day weekend

Deering Estate will offer $5 general admission on Labor Day weekend – September 3rd through 5th – for residents to enjoy wildlife viewing, bay vistas, and self-guided access of the museums. 

Visitors can purchase tickets online and select the day(s) of their visit for $5 general admission per person, aged 4 and up. Admission is free for Deering Estate Foundation members and children aged 3 and under (membership cards must be presented at gate). Memberships for the Deering Estate Foundation are available online as well.

The Deering Estate is currently celebrating the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Stone House. Merchandise featuring the Stone House Centennial is available for purchase.

The Deering Estate is a 21st Century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and a national landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida, and managed by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department. 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Stone House, and along with our philanthropic partners, the Deering Estate Foundation & 100 Ladies of Deering, we will be hosting a series of events & programs in celebration of this momentous occasion.
