Miami-Dade County announces resumption of countywide transit services

Metrobus will begin offering limited service on Wednesday, September 28. Metrorail, Metromover, and Special Transportation Services (STS) will offer full-service schedules beginning Thursday, September 29

Miami-Dade County has announced the resumption of countywide transit services – including Metrobus, Metrorail, Metromover and Special Transportation Services (STS).  

Metrobus will offer a limited-service schedule beginning Wednesday, September 28. The following routes have resumed limited service as of 6:30 p.m.: 

  •  Metrobus routes 3, 8, 9,11, 27, 38, 77, L, and S  
    • Regular service will resume for these routes at midnight  
  • Overnight Routes 246 and 500 will resume service at their regular time

Metrorail, Metromover, and Special Transit Services (STS) will resume regular service beginning Thursday, September 29.  

Scheduled trips may be delayed due to limited frequency. For real-time schedule information, riders are encouraged to track route maps through the GO Miami-Dade Transit mobile app.
