Metromover System closing this weekend for upgrades
Free Bus Shuttle Service will be provided between Metromover stations
(Miami, March 3, 2015) – In order for upgrades to be performed, the Metromover system will close Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Free bus-shuttle service will be provided between Metromover stations, with buses arriving approximately every 10 to 15 minutes.
A map of where shuttle buses will pick up and drop off patrons is available at MDT’s Metromover web page at: http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/metromover.asp.
Miami-Dade Transit apologizes for the inconvenience; however, this closure is necessary to continue system upgrades and to perform needed work throughout the Metromover system. Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Metromover will reopen for regular service at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015.
