Metrorail to provide bus-shuttle service between two stations
Track maintenance work performed May 16-17, 2015
(MIAMI, May 13, 2015) – Miami-Dade Transit will be doing track-maintenance work between Earlington Heights and Brownsville Metrorail stations all day on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2015.
Metrorail will offer free bus-shuttle service between the Earlington Heights and Brownsville stations, from 5 a.m. until approximately midnight.
Passengers traveling southbound from any station north of the Brownsville station will need to disembark at the Brownsville station, go down to the ground level and take a free shuttle bus to the Earlington Heights station, where they re-board a southbound Metrorail train.
Those headed northbound on a Green Line train from any station south of Earlington Heights will need to disembark at the Earlington Heights station, go down to the ground level and take a free shuttle bus to the Brownsville station, where they can re-board a Green Line northbound Metrorail train. Metrorail will provide regular service on all Orange Line trains.
Passengers are encouraged to plan accordingly.
