Service Updates

  • ULTRA Music Festival March 28-30, 2025:

    Effective Friday, March 28 until Sunday, March 30, 2025

    Miami-Dade Transit will offer extended services to make it easier and more convenient for attendees to reach Bayfront Park for the 2025 Ultra Music Festival in downtown Miami.

    Metrorail and Metromover

    • Metrorail and Metromover service will start at 5 a.m. and run through 2 a.m. the following morning on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29, 2025.
    • On Sunday, March 30, 2025, service will end at midnight.  
    • Green and Orange Line trains will run every 30 minutes for a combined frequency of 15 minutes between Earlington Heights and Dadeland South Stations.
    • Attendees can take Metrorail to the Government Center station. From there, transfer to Metromover’s Inner Loop (free of charge) and disembark at the College/Bayside, First Street or Bayfront Park Metromover station.
    • The Coconut Grover Metrorail Station is closed for renovations. Free bus shuttle information here. 

    Paying your fare
    • Download the GO Miami-Dade Transit app to plan your trip or track your ride in real-time, or pay for your fare ahead of time and purchase a One-Day Mobile Pass ($5.65) or a One-Way Mobile Pass ($2.25 - pass will activate upon purchase) and scan at any fare gate equipped with a QR scanner. 
    • Metrorail fare gates accept Contactless Payments, such as contactless-enabled debit, credit cards, and mobile wallets. Please note that contactless payments only work for bank cards issued in the US.  

    Parking
    • Parking at any Metrorail garage or surface lot is only $4.50 for the entire day. 
    • Parking garages will remain open until the following day. 
    • Transit riders can pay for parking at Metrorail garages/surface lots at the Ticket.
    • Vending Machines or via their mobile devices with the PayByPhone app.

    Metrobus Detours
    • Metrobus routes 3,  9,  11,  77,  100, 101, and  203 will be detoured starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, until 6 a.m. on Monday, March 31. 
    • All buses that service the Omni, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, and adjacent areas may experience delays. 
    • Please plan accordingly.

Metrorail

  • Coconut Grove Metrorail Station Closing for Renovations Starting January 21:

    Starting Tuesday, January 21, 2025, through Spring 2025, Coconut Grove Metrorail Station will be temporarily closed for improvements.
    • Metrorail trains will bypass the station. For service to Coconut Grove, please exit at Douglas Road Station and board the free shuttle bus providing service between Douglas Road and Coconut Grove stations.
    • The temporary closure will expedite the station improvements and modernizations which include new elevators, escalators, tiles, benches, and other enhancements to the rider experience.
    • Station improvements are part of the Transit Oriented Community project. Thank you for your patience as we work to modernize our facilities.

Metromover

  • Park West Station: closing for renovations on January 6, 2025:

    Starting Monday, January 6, 2025:
    • Park West Metromover Station will close for improvements until Summer 2025.
    • Please board or exit Metromover at Freedom Tower station. 
    • Improvements include stair, riser and handrail refinishing; elevator cab renovation; ground floor and platform level renovation; new lighting installation; directional lighting installation on west roof facade; roof cleaning and existing canopy replacement; wall cleaning and painting.
    • Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our facilities.

Metrobus

  • new Route 103 - Hialeah Detour:

  • Metrobus Service Adjustments, Route 35:

    Metrobus Service Adjustments begin Monday, March 31, 2025.We are adjusting the schedule to reflect current traffic conditions, and improve reliability, and reflect ridership.

    Weekday
    • The last trip will leave SW 112 Ave / SW 211 St at 11:15 p.m.
    • The 12:15 a.m. southbound trip will be discontinued.  
    • The last trip will leave SW 344 St Park & Ride at 11:00 p.m.
    • The 12:00 a.m. northbound trip will be discontinued.
    Saturday

    Southbound
    • Morning trips will leave SW 112 Ave / SW 211 St at 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., and 7:00 a.m.  
    • Trips will leave approximately every 23 minutes from 7:23 a.m. until 6:44 p.m.
    • The evening hourly service will leave at 7:07 p.m., 8:06 p.m., 9:06 p.m., 10:06 p.m., and the last trip at 11:06 p.m.
    Northbound
    • Morning trips will leave SW 344 St Park & Ride at 5:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., and 7:30 a.m.
    • Trips will leave approximately every 23 minutes from 7:53 a.m. until 6:56 p.m.
    • The evening hourly service will leave at 7:29 p.m., 8:32 p.m., 9:40 p.m., and the last trip at 10:40 p.m.
    • The 12:05 Saturday southbound and northbound trips will be discontinued.
    Sunday

    Southbound
    • Morning trips will leave SW 112 Ave / SW 211 St at 4:50 a.m., 5:50 a.m., and 6:50 a.m.
    • Trips will leave approximately every 23 minutes from 7:45 a.m. until 6:43 p.m.
    • The evening hourly service will leave at 7:07 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., and the last trip at 10:00 p.m.
    Northbound
    • Morning trips will leave SW 344 St Park & Ride at 5:20 a.m., 6:20 a.m., 7:20 a.m., and 8:20 a.m.
    • Trips will leave approximately every 23 minutes from 8:43 a.m. until 6:20 p.m.
    • The evening service will leave hourly from 7:00 p.m. until the last trip at 10:00 p.m.

    • The last southbound trip will leave MIA Metrorail station at 7:43 p.m.

    • The 11:05 p.m. southbound trip will be discontinued.  
    • •The last trip will leave Cape Park at 10:30 p.m.
    • The 11:30 p.m. northbound trip will be discontinued.

    • The last trips will leave Brickell Metrorail station hourly from 8:12 p.m. until 10:12 p.m.
    • The 11:02 p.m. southbound trip will be discontinued.
    • The last trips will leave Cape Park hourly from 8:38 p.m. until 10:38 p.m.

    We are adjusting this route to provide improved service frequency. 

    All trips will be extended seven days a week to the FIU South Terminal.  Service frequency will improve west of LeJeune Road to FIU.

    • The first trips will leave FIU at 4:51 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. 
    • Trips will leave every 20 minutes from 6:20 a.m. until 7:25 p.m.  Then every 30 minutes from 7:50 p.m. until 9:20 p.m.
    • The last trips will leave at 10:50 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.

    Westbound

    • Trips will leave Brickell Metrorail station every 20 minutes from 5:35 a.m. until 6:55 p.m.  Then every 30 minutes from 7:25 p.m. until 9:55 p.m.
    • The last trips will leave at 10:55 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

    Saturday

    Eastbound

    • The first trips will leave FIU at 4:5 a.m., 5:50 a.m., and 6:25 a.m. 
    • Trips will leave every 20 minutes from 7:00 a.m. until 7:25 p.m.  Then every 30 minutes from 7:50 p.m. until 9:50 p.m.
    • The last trips will leave at 10:20 p.m. and 11:20 p.m.
