Metrorail

• Network System Upgrades: Palmetto Metrorail Station:
  
  
  Thursday, October 17, from approximately 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  
  
  Okeechobee Metrorail Station Network System Upgrade

  • Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) will only accept cash.
  • Station Wi-fi will not be available.
  • Use the GO Miami-Dade Transit app for real time bus information, as the bus bay real-time arrival signs will be off- line.

Metromover

• Metromover Late Opening: Saturday, October 19, 2024:
  
  
  As part of the Metromover Upgrade Project, from time to time, the Metromover system will open late on designated Saturdays. Free bus shuttle service between stations will always be available to our riders.
  
  
  This Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Metromover system will open at 2 p.m.
  
  
  Late Opening information
  • Metromover stations will open once service begins at approximately 2 p.m. 
  • Free bus shuttle service between stations will be provided until the Metromover system opens.
  The upgrade work will:
  • Improve system reliability.
  • Increase vehicle frequency which will reduce wait times.
  • Increase the flexibility of routes to meet service demand and get riders to their final destination quicker.
  • Reduce maintenance costs and extend the system's lifespan by 30 years.

• Metromover School Board Station:
  
  
  Starting Monday, April 1, 2024, the escalator and adjacent stairway at School Board Station will be closed as the escalator undergoes a complete replacement. 
  
  
  Please use the elevator on the west side of the station. Follow detour signs.

• Metromover Adrienne Arsht Center Station:
  
  
  Starting Monday, March 18, 2024, the stairs on the east side (next to the escalator) of the Adrienne Arsht Center Metromover station will be closed as work continues on the escalator replacement project. 
  
  
  Please use the elevator or stairs on the west side of the station. Follow detour signs.
