  • Metrobus, MetroConnect and MetroLink will operate on a regular weekday schedule. 
  • Metrorail and Metromover will operate extended service until 2 a.m. with Green and Orange Line trains will run every 30 minutes.
  • For those attending celebrations in Downtown Miami on New Year's Eve, the last northbound and southbound trains will depart from Government Center Station at approximately 2 a.m. 
  • Entry to Metrorail stations will not be permitted after 2 a.m., only exiting.
  • Parking facilities at Metrorail stations will remain open through 3 a.m.

  Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Metrobus, MetroConnect will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • MetroLink does not provide service during county observed holidays.
  • Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a regular weekend schedule.
  All Miami-Dade County offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, including all DTPW’s administrative offices, Customer Service offices, the Golden Passport office at the Stephen P. Clark Center, Lost and Found and Contact Center.

  
  

  Special Transportation Services (STS) will not be impacted by this county-observed holiday and will run regular service. STS customers can call the STS reservation number (305-871-1111) to reserve or cancel an STS trip.

Metrorail

• Coconut Grove Station Escalator Replacement Starts January 6, 2025:
  
  
  Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, the escalator at Coconut Grove Metrorail Station will be closed for replacement.

  • Please use the elevator or stairs.
  • Escalator replacement is commencing on January 6, ahead of the station’s closure starting Tuesday, January 21, through Spring 2025, for renovations.
  • Station enhancements are part of the Transit Oriented Community project. Thank you for patience as we work to modernize our facilities.

Metromover

• Park West Station: closing for renovations on January 6, 2025:
  
  
  Starting Monday, January 6, 2025:
  • Park West Metromover Station will close for improvements until Summer 2025.
  • Please board or exit Metromover at Freedom Tower station. 
  • Improvements include stair, riser and handrail refinishing; elevator cab renovation; ground floor and platform level renovation; new lighting installation; directional lighting installation on west roof facade; roof cleaning and existing canopy replacement; wall cleaning and painting.
