Lane closure for water main repair

(MIAMI, January 14, 2015) - The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) continues to repair a 6-inch water main tonight that was broken by a contractor Tuesday. The repair project, which will begin at 7 p.m., is located at Southwest 27th Avenue and Southwest 17th Street. As a result, the inside Southbound lane of Southwest 27th Avenue between 16th and 18th Street will be closed. Commuters may want to avoid the area.
