Swimming advisory for Oleta River has been lifted
(MIAMI, January 17, 2015) – Based on water quality results, the precautionary swimming advisory enacted on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 for Oleta River has now been lifted. The advisory for the beach areas of the Oleta River State Park and the Intracoastal Waterway was lifted on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County and the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER) have tested the affected waters and received satisfactory results.
