Water main break causes lane closures on North Miami Avenue

(MIAMI, January 29, 2015) - A Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crew is repairing an eight-inch water line that broke on North Miami Avenue. To accommodate the repairs, two southbound lanes have been closed between Northwest 78-79th Streets. Commuters may want to avoid the area during the construction. Repairs are expected to be completed within six hours and should not affect water service to the area.
