Upgrades being made to Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department's on-line payment system to result in improved customer friendly experience
(MIAMI, April 23, 2015) – During the next few weeks, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will be upgrading its on-line payment service that will result in a more user friendly experience for customers and a more efficient, streamlined process for department staff.
To accommodate the transition to this new platform, customers currently enrolled in ePayBill will not be able to update enrollment information while the new system is being installed from today through April 28.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this upgrade period, as we work to make the online system more user-friendly for your business transactions.
Once the second phase of the new platform is rolled out later this year, the new system will allow WASD to receive real time payment notifications so customers will not have to alert WASD when a payment is made. In addition, if a customer’s account has been terminated for non-payment, the system will issue a reconnect order once payment is made. This will now allow for a more efficient deployment of WASD field staff based on the most accurate, up-to-date information.
In addition to immediate bill postings, on-line bill paying customers will also receive a more enhanced bill from the department providing information about their transactions in addition to their current consumption and account amount due.
WASD customers also have other options to pay their water bills, such as by mail, phone or in person at a department office or other service center. For more information about the various methods to pay your water bill, go to www.miamidade.gov/water/pay-bill.asp.
