Two eastbound lanes closed on northeast 79 streets Tuesday night to accommodate water main repair

(MIAMI, April 27, 2015) – The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will close two eastbound lanes on Northeast 79 Street between Northeast 10 Avenue and Bayshore Court to accommodate a leak repair of a 30-inch water main on Tuesday night. One east-bound lane will remain open to traffic.

The repairs will begin at 7:30 pm Tuesday night and the closed lanes will reopen by 6 am Wednesday morning. Commuters may want to avoid the area during the construction period.
