Community Advisory Committees

Community Advisory Committees help foster and sustain civic engagement in 16 targeted areas of Miami-Dade County. Members are elected and represent the community's residents.

By following Community Service Block Grant program requirements, citizens are given the opportunity to identify community conditions and needs, develop and implement plans, and monitor their effectiveness in improving the conditions in which low-income people live.
