Mayor Levine Cava has worked to build a future-ready economy that embraces innovation, supports our workforce for tomorrow, empowers entrepreneurs and small businesses, and ensures all people can access opportunity.

- Reached 15,000 small businesses (and growing!) through STRIVE 305, the county’s flagship program offering resources, capital access, training, and ecosystem development, aiming to reach 75% of small businesses by 2025.
- Allocated $25 million to more than 120 small businesses through grants and partnerships like RISE Fund, BizHack, AxisHelps, and CAMACOL.
- Launched an online Small Business Resource Guide to empower small businesses equip in the county with essential resources for starting, managing, and growing their operations.
- Launched the workforce.miami online platform to connect local job seekers with good jobs and apprenticeships.
- Collaborated with Miami Dade College to provide $1.4+ million in scholarships to more than 2,000 students, including the FutureReady scholarships that enable no-cost associates degrees for residents.
- Supported Miami-Dade's agricultural industry, generating more than $1.13 billion in sales with initiatives in sustainable growth, disease management, and land use compliance.
- Attracted 1,800+ film/TV productions, generating $640 million, creating more than 62,000 jobs; launched High Impact Film Fund to incentivize large-scale productions and tourism.
- Generated more than $22 million in non-tax revenue from innovative marketing projects:
  - $117 million long-term naming rights deal for the Kaseya Center, with proceeds supporting the Peace and Prosperity Plan for crime prevention and public safety
  - $3 million first-of-its-kind naming rights partnership for UHealth | Jackson station, with proceeds directly benefiting public transit
- Led international trade missions to countries like Japan and Israel, with promising results such as the signing of two sister port agreements and the expansion of key industries to Miami-Dade including tech and pharmaceuticals.
- Secured a U.S. Economic Development Administration tech hub designation for South Florida, bringing in $23 million in grants and philanthropic funding. This investment will scale climate technologies to address evolving water challenges and support the creation of, good jobs in the region.
- Launched four public innovation challenges through the Miami-Dade Innovation Authority to enable beneficial use of sargassum, passenger experience at MIA, cargo visibility at PortMiami, and traffic congestion, awarding more than $1M USD to companies to pilot solutions with the County.
