Trust and Accountability

Mayor Levine Cava has worked to make County government more responsive, transparent, and focused on delivering better services to our residents.

No Wrong Door is Mayor Levine Cava’s initiative to ensure that however residents get in contact with the County, they will always be led to seamless, comprehensive, and compassionate delivery of government services.

Mayor Levine Cava created the first Office of Equity & Engagement to make sure equity is at the center of her administration. The Office works across County Departments to lead engagement processes that bring all community stakeholders to the table and oversees the Mayor’s Resident Services team that acts as a one stop shop to help residents navigate our County government.

The Office of Housing Advocacy (OHA) acts as a resource coordinator to help residents and property owners connect with resources, including information about affordable housing, financial and legal assistance, and landlord and tenant rights.

The Office of Neighborhood Safety (ONS) brings together residents, community stakeholders and County representatives to solve public safety and quality of life issues. ONS engages directly with historically disenfranchised communities to ensure they help to guide decision-making and deliver innovative solutions.
