Feel the Rhythm of Miami
Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, (GMCVB) present Rhythms of Miami – a night of Latin music and food trucks on Nov. 1 from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., at Tropical Park, 7900 Bird Road, Miami, FL. Admission is free and does not include the cost of food.
The event will feature the weekly food trucks by Moty that have a popular following among fans and area residents, as well as other vendors. Also, Animal Services will have their mobile unit – the Hope Express with featured pets available for adoption. Concert starts at 6:30 p.m. with performances by Cortadito, Mariangela and headlined by Latin-Grammy Award winner GALE.
Before becoming a solo artist, GALE co-wrote songs for other artists, including Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Anitta, Cardi B and Selena Gomez. She won her first Latin Grammy for songwriting on Christina Aguilera's Aguilera, which won best traditional pop vocal album. GALE's debut album, Lo Que No Te Dije, was released in 2023 and includes a range of songs from feminist punk anthems to heartbreak ballads. Rolling Stone named it one of the Best Albums of 2023.
Rhythms of Miami is made possible through generous sponsors and partners, including the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, Moty Food Trucks, Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department, and Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Pets and coolers are prohibited.
