Love-In Music Festival returns to Greynolds Park for its 20th Anniversary, October 20
Greynolds Park, a designated Miami-Dade County Heritage Park, will come alive on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, as the Love-In Music Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with a full day of concerts and activities for the whole family to enjoy. This outdoor festival, a beloved County tradition honoring the music and spirit of the '60s, '70s, and '80s, is presented by the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, in partnership with Miami-Dade District 4 Commissioner Micky Steinberg.
This year's festival promises an unforgettable lineup, headlined by The Voices of Classic Rock – featuring former legendary vocalists John Elefante from Kansas, Alex Ligertwood from Santana, Steve Augeri from Journey, and John Payne from Asia. They will come together for a spectacular performance of chart-topping hits from some of the most iconic bands of the classic rock era. Also performing are local favorites, Havoc 305, Sisters Mann, and Fire Brigade, delivering rock classics that will transport festivalgoers back in time.
In addition to the live music, guests will enjoy the return of Octoberfest, with authentic German food and beer, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and a '60s, '70s, and '80s-themed costume contest. Festival attendees can also create a keepsake with a commemorative t-shirt or design their own tie-dye shirt. As part of the day’s festivities, festivalgoers are invited to explore the 249-acre Greynolds Park, known for its hardwood hammock and mangrove forest – one of the last protected natural areas in northern Miami-Dade County.
Gates open at 10 a.m. Admission is $20 per person and free for children ages 12 and under. Now through October 18th, take advantage of a special Buy One, Get One free ticket offer using discount code LoveInEarlyBird. To purchase a ticket or for more information, visit miamidade.gov/lovein and follow us on Facebook.
Since its inception in 2004, the Love-In Music Festival has grown into a signature event, celebrating both its storied history and the community’s love for classic rock. Over the years, it has hosted renowned artists such as Joey Molland’s Badfinger, The Classic Rock All Stars, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who, and many more. Greynolds Park, famous for its role in the 1960s peace movement, continues to be the ideal backdrop for this nostalgic celebration of music and culture. Greynolds Park is located at 18501 NE 22nd Avenue in North Miami Beach, FL. No coolers, outside food and beverages, large tents or umbrellas, and pets (except service animals for individuals with disabilities) are permitted.
