Subject extradited back to Miami-Dade County and charged in the murder of Jose "El Taiger" Carvajal-Zaldivar.
MIAMI-DADE ( November 06, 2024 )–
In order to maintain the jurisdictional integrity of the case regarding the murder of Jose Manuel Carvajal Zaldivar, also known as "El Taiger", detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau have assumed the investigation.
On todays date, the subject (Damian Valdez Galloso) was extradited to Miami-Dade County by Miami-Dade Police Department's Warrants Bureau and booked into Turner Gilford Knight Correctional Center on charges of 2nd Degree Murder, Tampering with Evidence, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. This arrest of the subject was made possible by earnest collaborative efforts between the Miami-Dade Police Department, Hialeah Police Department, and the City of Miami Police Department. Although an arrest has been made in this case, detectives continue to work to work to gather facts regarding this incident.
