Arrest made in Christmas Day shooting that left four injured
Detectives from the Miami Dade Police Department have made an arrest in the case of a shooting incident that left four people injured on Christmas Day.
According to investigators, on December 25th, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of 26510 SW 138 Court to reports of multiple people shot. Upon their arrival, officers were advised that three gunshot victims were transported to Homestead Baptist Hospital by a friend, while a fourth victim was transported to Jackson South Medical Center by Miami Dade Fire Rescue. Due to their injuries, two of the victims were airlifted from Homestead Baptist Hospital to Jackson South Medical Center by Miami Dade Fire Rescue. All victims were initially listed in critical but stable condition and were eventually upgrade to stable condition the following day. The preliminary investigation revealed that one of the victims and the subject were engaged in an altercation at the victim's residence. The subject retrieved a firearm from her vehicle and began shooting into the front yard of the residence, striking multiple people. The subject then left the scene in her vehicle but returned shortly after and began shooting again towards the residence striking the fourth victim.
On December 26th, 2024, via investigative means, detectives were able to locate a person of interest in the case, identified as Dacia Allie Tisdale. The subject was arrested and charged accordingly.
