ITC hosts UK tech delegation seeking to open Miami-based offices
The Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium (ITC) hosted a briefing session for a distinguished tech delegation from the United Kingdom, led by Hanna Yu, British Consulate-General in Atlanta. The session, which took place in Miami-Dade County, provided an opportunity to highlight the region’s rapidly expanding tech ecosystem and explore opportunities for British companies to establish a permanent presence in the area.
The delegation, composed of prominent innovators such as Trine Fjellberg Falnes of Spond, Simon Catley of Brainnwave, and David Saldanha of Wavesight, engaged in discussions about the advantages of Miami-Dade as a strategic destination for growth and innovation. Their visit reflects the increasing recognition of Miami as a global tech hub, offering access to diverse talent, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a business-friendly environment.
The event featured presentations from key stakeholders, including Silvia Clarke, Marina Olman, James Kohnstamm, and Christopher Hudtwalcker, who highlighted the many opportunities available in Miami-Dade for tech companies. Their insights underscored the region's growing status as a critical location for business expansion, particularly in technology and innovation sectors.
ITC looks forward to continuing the conversation with such an eminent group of innovators from the UK and exploring the potential for these companies to contribute to and benefit from our vibrant ecosystem in Miami-Dade County.
ITC also expressed gratitude ITC Board Member Lynare Robbins for her continued support of the organization’s mission to strengthen international trade relations and foster economic growth.
As Miami-Dade continues to attract attention from global innovators, ITC remains committed to promoting the county as a premier destination for business, technology, and investment.
