ITC Welcomes University of Galway Delegation for Interactive Briefing on Miami-Dade’s Global Business Landscape
The Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium (ITC) had the privilege of hosting the 2024 cohort from the School of Business & Economics at the University of Galway, Ireland, for an engaging and interactive briefing session. Led by ITC Vice Chairman, Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, the event provided the delegation with an in-depth look at Miami-Dade County's dynamic business environment, highlighting the region's role as a global hub for trade, innovation, and economic development.
The session covered Miami-Dade’s strategic advantages in international trade, logistics, and economic growth, with a particular focus on the region’s diverse industries and the opportunities available for global partnerships. Key stakeholders from the local business community shared their insights, emphasizing the importance of Miami-Dade as a gateway to both the Americas and the world.
A special thank you was extended to Consul General Sarah Kavanagh of the Consulate General of Ireland in Miami for her time and support. ITC also extends thanks to ITC Board Member Carlos Guerra for his time and contributions to the event, as well a Stanley Rigaud from the Miami-Dade Beacon Council and Pamela Fuertes from Miami Dade College for their strategic partnership and valuable insights.
This continued collaboration aims to foster even stronger ties between Miami-Dade and Ireland, creating new opportunities for trade, investment, and innovation.
