Miami-Dade Parks’ 4th annual Girls Got Game returns to Tropical Park

On Saturday, February 1, Miami-Dade Parks will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day by hosting the 4th Annual Girls Got Game event at Tropical Park Stadium, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. Girls between the ages of 6-17 are encouraged to participate. 

This event invites girls to explore a range of sports including soccer, volleyball, flag football, netball, softball and tennis. Participants will receive coaching from athletes and local coaches, while taking part in hands-on activities that emphasize teamwork, physical fitness and help boost self-confidence through the enjoyment of sports. 

Girls Got Game is committed to providing girls with opportunities to engage in sports, especially those who may not have access to such experiences. This event is free and open to the public. However, participants must register in advance to attend.
