This innovative, grassroots program was designed with the community in mind to increase public awareness about the County’s vast public transit services.
Some of the programs and services that are included:
- Free and reduced fare programs
- Financial hardship assistance
- Special Transportation Service (STS)
- First-and-last mile options
- Lost and found
- Safety and security
- Community outreach presentation requests
- Service complaints
- Guaranteed Ride Home Program
- Performances by DTPW’s renowned chorale group, Transit Expressions, to build community and make transit journeys more enjoyable.
Through this outreach initiative, the department is better positioned to inform and empower Miami-Dade County’s residents and visitors to enjoy safe and reliable public transportation options.
