Unidentified Persons
If you know someone who is missing, consider the following:
- Check with local hospitals.
- Check with correctional facilities.
- Check the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner Search database or call the office.
- File a missing person's report with local police.
You can also search the National Unidentified Persons System. The system includes cases from throughout the United States and may be searched by demographics, physical characteristics, case numbers or other specific information. New records are added every day by medical examiners and coroners across the country, increasing the chances that these unidentified persons will be named.
If you believe you might recognize someone based off of the case information, physical and/or identifying descriptors, or from the photographs, contact us to let us know. You may remain anonymous.
