To accomplish the breadth and scope of the work the Office handles, the Office’s practice areas are organized into sections, and six divisions, with many attorneys serving in more than one section or division. Each section is overseen by a section head who, in addition to handling his or her own cases, is responsible for the administration of the section. In addition, each division is led by a division chief, who is responsible for, among other things: facilitating communication, collaboration, and education among attorneys in various sections and practice areas; assisting in the development of necessary legal skills; and imparting institutional knowledge.
