The Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office is a unique "in-house" civil law firm representing Miami-Dade County, Florida, the eighth most populous county in the U.S. with a population of more than 2.5 million people. The County has an annual budget of nearly $6 billion. The Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office provides legal representation to all aspects of Miami-Dade County government, including the Mayor and the 13-member Board of County Commissioners, the Property Appraiser, 25 county departments and numerous boards, authorities, councils and commissions.
