Jennifer Hochstadt is a member of the Federal Litigation Section as well as the Torts Liability & Medical Malpractice Section. As part of her practice, Jennifer defends the County and its employees against medical malpractice cases involving the Public Health Trust. In addition, Jennifer defends civil rights cases in federal court on behalf of the County as well as officers with the Miami-Dade Police Department and Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department.

Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Jennifer clerked for the Honorable Jose E. Martinez of the Southern District of Florida. Jennifer also worked in New York for American Express, handling regulatory compliance matters. From 2008 to 2011, Jennifer worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney, handling all phases of criminal prosecutions.
