Assistant County Attorney
Leigh C. Kobrinski joined the County Attorney's Office in 2016 and practices in the Housing, Social Services and Economic Development section. Leigh serves as legal counsel for The Children's Trust, the Office of Management and Budget - Grants Coordination division, Miami-Dade County's Head Start and Early Head Start Program, and multiple County boards, including the Domestic Violence Oversight Board, the Social and Economic Development Council, and the Youth Commission. She is also responsible for advising on and litigating matters pertaining to Florida's Public Records Law. During her time at the County, Leigh has successfully represented the County in a federal civil rights jury trial, and several appellate cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Leigh served as a judicial law clerk to two federal judges and worked as an intellectual property associate at a firm in Washington, D.C.
