Attorney Profile

Ryan Carlin joined the Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office in 2017, and currently practices in the Taxation & Finance and Governmental Affairs sections. Ryan represents the offices of the Property Appraiser and the Tax Collector on various matters related to ad valorem taxation. Ryan also works with the Board of County Commissioners and various County Departments to provide legal advice and prepare and review ordinances and resolutions on behalf of the Board. In addition, Ryan handles personnel appeals and code enforcement appeals, and served as legal counsel to the Unsafe Structures Board.
