Assistant County Attorney
Kevin Marker joined the Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office in 2019 as a member of the office's Public Health Trust section. In addition to board and committee involvement, he advises the Public Health Trust on a variety of matters related to regulatory compliance, credentialing, guardianships, leases, Stark and anti-kickback, commercial and contracting matters, and medical staff issues.
Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Kevin practiced administrative and health law in the state capital as an attorney with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. There, he handled a wide range of issues related to health facilities regulation and represented the state before the Division of Administrative Hearings.
Kevin earned his law degree from Florida State University, where he graduated with high honors. In law school, he served as a Legal Writing and Research Teacher's Assistant and as an Articles and Notes Editor of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law.
