Khalil Madani is a member of the Federal, Tort & Medical Malpractice Litigation section. Khalil Madani has extensive experience in both public service and private practice. Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Khalil was a Partner at a boutique litigation firm in Coconut Grove, where he focused on consumer fraud litigation. Before transitioning to private practice, Khalil served as a Felony Division Chief at the State Attorney's Office for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami. In that capacity, he supervised a team of attorneys and managed over thirty homicide cases, while also conducting more than fifty trials to verdict. These cases covered a range of serious charges, including homicides, capital sexual battery, drug trafficking, and kidnapping. Khalil was recognized as Prosecutor of the Year in 2022 for his leadership and trial success. His work also encompassed pre-arrest investigations, case management, and handling post-conviction motions.
