Assistant County Attorney
Andrew "Andy" Beaulieu joined the Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office in January 2025 and currently practices in the Federal Litigation Section, where he defends the County and its officers in civil rights cases brought in federal court. In this role, his representation encompasses all aspects of litigation, from the outset of the case up to and through trial and any appeal. He is also a member of the Office's Taxation Section.
Andy began his federal practice litigating maritime claims for a boutique law firm in Coconut Grove before serving as a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Edwin G. Torres in the Southern District of Florida. Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, and upon completion of his clerkship, he practiced complex commercial litigation in Miami. He originally hails from Boston, Massachusetts.
