Lynda Slade Bendavid joined the County Attorney's Office in July 2000. Since joining the County Attorney's Office, Lynda has been a trial attorney and litigator in the workers' compensation section, serving the interests of both Miami-Dade County and the Public Health Trust.
Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Lynda was a senior attorney and prosecutor for the Florida Department of Children & Families. In that capacity, she tried numerous terminations of parental rights cases, many involving instances of horrific child abuse and neglect. While practicing in the child dependency system, Lynda served on the Juvenile Court Rules Committee for the Florida Bar.
