The Public Health Trust Section provides legal advice and counsel on a broad range of complex health care matters to the Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County, Florida, which governs and operates the Jackson Health System. The Jackson Health System is an academic medical system that consists of: Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center, Jackson South Medical Center, Jackson West Medical Center, Holtz Children's Hospital, Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital, skilled nursing facilities, a network of urgent care centers, the Miami Transplant Institute, the Ryder Trauma Center, pharmacies, and multiple primary care and specialty care centers.
Our attorneys provide counsel in health care transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, and enforcement and litigation defense. We also advise on a variety of complex health care matters before courts, agencies, and administrative and enforcement bodies.
