Poinciana Park Study Area
The Poinciana Park study area comprises approximately 115 acres located in the Model City/North Central part of Miami-Dade County.
The Poinciana Park area was carefully studied and the recommendations in the Area Plan Report (17.5 MB) intend to improve the existing conditions within the study area in order to:
- Enhance the character of the Study Area
- Encourage mixed-use development
- Improve interconnectivity
- Encourage pedestrian activity
- Reduce vehicular speed
- Provide meaningful, well-defined and accessible open spaces.
