David Marin
David Marin is an accomplished public policy and community relations professional with over 20 years of experience driving legislative and public policy initiatives. He currently serves as Director of Policy for Miami-Dade County Commissioner Senator Rene Garcia, District 13. In this position, he oversees the Senator's policy goals and reviews legislation filed by other commissioners.
From 2018 to 2020, Mr. Marin served as Director of Constituent Services for then-State Senator Manny Diaz Jr. His role comprised of assisting constituents, setting up mobile office hours and attending events.
Mr. Marin has also worked as a Government Affairs Officer for Miami Dade College and the Florida Department of Transportation D-6, coordinating lobbying efforts and assisting local elected officials with their concerns.
Mr. Marin holds a Bachelor's in Science from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Management from St. Thomas University.
