Miguel Murphy
Miguel Murphy is the Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Miami Dade College, where he has worked with students and student groups for more than two decades in recruitment, orientation, training and planning. Murphy also is an Adjunct Professor at the college’s School of Global Business, Trade and Transportation.
An Advisory Board member of the Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board, Murphy is former chair of the City of Miami Gardens Caribbean Affairs Advisory Board.
Professionally, he is a member of the National Association of Student Affairs Administrators, the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC), the Florida Caribbean Students Undergraduate Association (FCSA) and the Florida Caribbean Students Alumni Association (FCSA Alumni).
Mr. Murphy said that serving as a member of the Citizens’ Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) will provide an opportunity to share his expertise and insight to solve current challenges and find solutions to improve Miami-Dade County’s, and South Florida’s, transportation infrastructure.
He has a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix, and is a graduate of Leadership Miami Class 43 and the 2019 Miami Dade College Leadership Program.
He represents Miami-Dade County's District 1 on the Transportation Trust.
